Saragen-SO is dispersing agent recommended for exhaust dyeing, direct style of printing and continuous dyeing of polyester and its blends. Saragen-SO improves dispersion stability, particulary for dark shades which are dyed for longer period at low liquor ratio. Dyes with inferior dispersions, addition of Saragen-SO in dyebath improves dispersion. Saragen-SO can also be added in print paste as well as for dyeing of disperse dyes by padding. Saragen-SO also used for washing-off agent for reactive dyes as it keeps hydrolysed and unreacted dye in solution.

1. Saragen-SO : 0.3-0.8 g/l
2. Saragen-SO for washing-off agent. 0.3-0.5% Saragen-SO
Sequence of addition :
1. After dyeing drain the bath.
2. Add Saragen-SO at room temperature or at dyeing temperature (at 55-60 deg.C or 80-90 deg.C) for 20 min. Drain
3. Add 0.5% Celldet-R (wetting agent) increase temperature to 95 deg.C for 20 min. Drain
4. Hot rinse at 70 deg.C for 10 min, followed by cold rinse. Drain
5. Cold rinse and carry out dyefixing in the same bath
Instructions For Dilution
Procedure to prepare 35% Saragen-SO
Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.
It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months.
Slight settlement is observed after 24 hours of dilution.
Stir well before use.
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
