Product Information
Sarastabil-CONC is a powder form concentrated organic peroxide stabilizer for combined scouring and bleaching as well as peroxide bleaching of cotton and polyester/ cellulosic blends by exhaust as well as continuous process. Sarastabil-CONC is having preferential chelating action on iron and hence prevents catalytic damage and pin hole marks in cotton. 
Sarastabil-CONC is silicate free and magnesium free and does not lead to any deposits on substrate or machine.

Application

1. Exhaust application

  • 0.5% : Celldet-R
  • 2% : Caustic flakes
  • 1% : Soda ash
  • 3-8% : Hydrogen Peroxide (50%)
  • 0.5-1% : Saraquest-2UD (Optional)
  • 0.02-0.04% : Sarastabil(Conc)

Treat at 98 deg.C for 45-90 min, or 110 deg.C for 15-45 min,

2.Pad application

  • 40-50 ml/kg : Hydrogen Peroxide (50%)
  • 15-18 gm/kg : Caustic Soda Flakes
  • 5-6 ml/kg : Envicare-CP
  • 3-4 gm/kg : Sarastabil(Conc)
  • 0.5-1 ml/kg : Saraquest-W

Steam at 98 deg.C for 15-20 min.

Instructions For Dilution

Procedure to prepare 25% Sarastabil (Conc)

  • Take 75 parts of DM water
  • To this, gradually add 25 parts Sarastabil (Conc) with constant stirring.
  • Stir at 300-400 rpm using normal/turbo stirrer for 30-40 min.till clear liquid is obtained OR powder is completely dissolved.

Preservation : It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo,2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal/microbial growth.

Note : Our recommendation is to make 14 dilutions of Sarastabil (Conc) for dosing on a continuous range.

It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months. Stir well before use.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
