Qsoft-POA is a novel hydrophilic, non-yellowing amido silicone oil. It is suitable after emulsification for cellulosic (woven, knits & towels) all types of fabrics. It has very good moisture absorbing properties thereby gives comforts to wearer. Qsoft-POA emulsified oil has pH and shear stability. Emulsion of Qsoft-POA provides soft and supple handle. Emulsified Qsoft-POA can be applied by padding as well as exhaust.

Qsoft-POA can be applied by pad and exhaust
Pad application :
15 - 20 g/l Qsoft-POA (30% emulsion)
Adjust pH at 5-6. pad with 65-70% pick up,dry and cure at 160-180 deg.C for 30-45 sec.
Exhaust application :
Qsoft-POA 1.5-2% pH 5-6, Temp.35-40deg.C, treat for 20-30 min.

Procedure to emulsify Qsoft-POA
It can be easily emulsified into stable nano emulsion using turbostirrer or normal stirrer at medium to high speed.

* First take Qsoft-POA and surfactant (Tridecyl alcohol ethoxylate 6.5 EO and 12 EO) and stir for 20-25 min.
* Add 5 part of water 1 (1st addition) and acetic acid and mix gradually with stirring and stir for 15-20 min.
* Add 7 part of water 2 (2nd addition) and stir for 10-15 min.
* Add 56 part water 3 (3rd addition) and stir for 15 min.
Note:-If emulsion is highly viscous then it is recommended to add 1-2% Butyl diglycol (BDG)
Precautions
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
