Ferma-986 is a non yellowing, silicone oil. Its emulsion imparts hydrophilic, greasy / peach handle with lubricity for all types of fibers. It maintains original absorbency of cellulosic and increases the hydrophilicity of synthetics. It is stable at broad pH range and compatible with optical brightness and residual electrolytes.

Pad application
15-20 g/l Ferma-986 (35% emulsion) Adjust pH at 5-6. pad with 65-70% pick up, dry and cure at 160-180 deg.C for 30-45 sec.
Ferma-986 1.5-2% (35% emulsion) pH 5-6, Temp.35-40deg.C, treat for 20-30 mins

It can be easily emulsified into stable nano emulsion using turbostirrer or normal stirrer at medium to high speed.

* First take Ferma-986 and surfactants (Tridecyl alcohol ethoxylate 6.5 EO and 12 EO and stir for 20-25 mins.
* Add 5ml (water1) and acetic acid mix gradually under constant stirring and stir for 15-20 min.
* Add 7ml (water2) and stir for 10-15 mins.
* Add 56ml (water3) and mix gradually under constant stirring for 10 15 mins. till homogeneous product is formed.

The recipe pH should not be less than pH 6. The recipe pH should be pH 6-6.5.
It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months. Stir well before use.
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
