Polyethylene emulsion

Sarasoft-EP is a polyethylene emulsion specially developed for cotton sheeting, cellulosic and their blends to impart soft and bulky handle on the finished fabric. Sarasoft-EP when used alongwith Saralink-545 or Saralink-ULF, improves the tear and tensile strength of the treated fabrics with improvement in DP rating.  It also improves sewability of the finished fabrics. Sarasoft-EP is also recommended for finishing of fabrics before emerising to ensure uniformity of treatment.

2. Wrinkle-free finish

• Bath pH : 4.5-5.0

• Shock Cure : 180-190 deg.C, 45-60 sec.

2.2 100% Cotton fabric

• Saralink-ULF : 60-120 g/l
• Sarasoft-EP : 20-40 g/l
• Sarasoft-1371: 10-20 g/l
• MgCl12 : 12-24 g/l
• Citric acid : 0.3 g/l
• Drying : 110-130 deg.C, (8-12% moisture content)
• Curing : 150-160 deg.C, 5-6 mins.

3. Finishing of fabrics before emerising

• Bath pH : 5.5-6.0
• Drying : 110-130 deg.C

Exhaust Process

• Saralink-ULF : 6-12%
• Sarasoft-EP : 2-3%
• Sarasoft-1371 : 2-3%
• Sarasoft-I : 1 %
• MgCl2 : 1.2-2.4%
• Bath pH : 4.5-5.0 (adjusted with citric acid)
• Bath Temp. : R.T, 10-30 mins.
• Drying : Hydroextract (65-70% moisture content), Tumble dry (10-15% moisture content)

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
