Quench-OBA is a special auxiliary to remove traces of OBA from a dyeing machine as well as cotton rich substrates before or after dyeing. Traces of OBA present in the machine can interfere in subsequent dyeing leading to light spots or shade change. Presence of OBA on substrates usually due to contamination from process chemicals or yarn can lead to shade / hue variation within the batch. These OBA residues are successfully removed before dyeing by using Quench-OBA. After successful removal of OBA traces, Quench-OBA is easily washed-off before dyeing.

a) Treat with 3-5 g/l Quench-OBA
pH 4.5-5 at 98-130 deg.C for 45-60 mins. Wash thoroughly
b) Treat with 5-8 g/l Quench-OBA
pH 4.5-5, pad with 70% pickup and dry at 150-170 deg.C
Wash thoroughly either by batch process or continuous process.
Storage: Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg c. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
