Technical textiles are ‘advanced materials’ for which the technical performance and physical properties are more important than features such as appearance, feel and price.

Technical textiles growth and evolution is driven by the amalgamation of customers demand and increasing awareness about safety. Value addition to technical textiles can be done in the form of functional finishes which provide protection against UV rays, micro-organisms, fire, oil and water, insects etc.

Technical textiles made of synthetic fibers like polyester, nylon, acrylic also require functional finishes.

5	CAREGUARD-7321	High oil and solvent repellency	It imparts excellent oil, water and solvent repellency. It is highly suitable for pigment printed and aramid fabrics. It passes Gutter Test, ISO 6530:2005

9	CELLBIND-473	Versatile anti-pilling and seam slippage improver	It improves resistance to pilling and snagging. It is compatible with most of the finishes. It can be combined with any type of softener in finishing to carry out combine finishing treatment. It does not affect the hand feel of fabric.

25	SARAGUARD-AP	Permethrin based moth and beetle proofing agent	It is a durable moth proofing agent developed for the fabrics which are meant for outerwear, sportswear, military fabrics, tents etc. Saraguard-AP treated garments have a knock-down effect on moths and other flying insects.

32	TEARNON (CONC).	Tear Strength Improver	A specialty finishing agent specially developed to improve the tear strength of the woven cellulosic substrates. Incorporation of Tearnon (Conc). in the normal finishing bath as well as in resin finishing bath improves tear strength without affecting the fabric handle.
33	TEXFINISH-DR	Stiffener	A handle modifier for imparting heavy and fuller finish to polyester, cotton and their blends. Fabrics finished with Texfinish-DR remains on storage or with an increase in humidity.
34	TEXPEACH-RSL	Cationic polyurethane based anti-pilling agent	It is effective in giving anti-pilling properties through cross-linking. It is highly suitable for linen fabrics.
35	YUVI-493	Light-fastness improver for polyester	A UV absorber for Polyester. It reduces the fibre damage due to photo chemical degradation. Yuvi 493 has very good dispersion stability and is therefore particularly suitable in exhaust method of application. Yuvi-493 has no influence on the shade of dyeings.
36	YUVI-CELL	UPF improver for cellulose	A highly efficient UV protecting agent for cellulosic fabrics. It exhibits excellent UV absorbing properties. It is durable to home launderings. It can be applied to dyed fabrics with minimum shade change. UPF of 40-50 can be achieved.
37	ZOROGUARD-ZP	Zinc Pyrothione based Anti-fungal	A zinc pyrithione based anti fungal and anti-bacterial agent. It is effective against a broad spectrum of microbes. It is suitable for all types of substrates cotton, polyester, polyamide, wool and their blends.
