Flamguard-BC is a durable Halogen and formaldehyde free flame retardant finishing chemical for polyester fabrics. It is suitable for application by back coating method for upholstery fabrics, automotive textiles and technical textiles. It has high flame resistance. It imparts durable, non-hygroscopic, non-corrosive, non-plasticizing and thermostable FR finish. The finish is stable to UV radiation, heat as well as humid conditions.

By coating
Coat add-on 60-70g / sq mt = about 3.8-5.3 g/ (17.5 to 20 cm) Dry at 150 deg.C for 10 min.
Note:
Percent add-on should be proper as an insufficient add-on of Flamguard-BC may lead to failure or reduced durability while excessive add-on of flame retardant can lead to harsh feel.
It can be incorporated into the print paste.
It can be applied by foam finishing.
Flamguard-BC can pass following tests
i) FMVSS302
ii) NFPA-701
iii) BS-5852
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
