Product Information

Wetol-DT is a low foaming, solvent free wetting cum detergent for scouring of cotton yarn, knits, terry towels, polyester and blends. Due to its low foaming characteristics, the product is suitable for jet dyeing machine even at low liquor ratio. The product is also suitable for scouring and bleaching at boil as well as at high temperature. It can be used as washing off agent for reactive dyed yarns and fabrics.

1. For scouring and combined scouring and bleaching :      

  • 0.5-1% : Wetol-DT      
  • 2-3% : Caustic soda flakes      
  • 1% : Soda ash      
  • 2-8% : H2O2 50%      
  • 0.5-1% : Saraquest 2UD      
  • 0.3-1.2% : Sarastabil MRS      

Treat at 98 deg.C for 40-90 min. OR 110 deg.C for 15-45 min   

2. For Washing-off of reactive dyed yarns and fabrics (after dyeing)    

    0.5-0.75% : Wetol-DT - For light and medium shades      

    Carry out double soaping for dark shades.

1. Since the product is nonionic in nature, it won't have any effect on subsequent process 

2. In yarn package dyeing, treated yarn becomes more softer than conventional anionic soaping 

3. In fabric, treated fabric does not have white marks like conventional anionic soaping

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg c. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.   

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
