Quest-AMP is an ATMP Acid based (Amino trimethylene phosphonic acid) sequestering agent. It exhibits excellent sequestration of metal ions. It can be use for bleaching of cellulosic and its blend. It is suitable for combine scouring and bleaching operation and also suitable during dyeing as it does not chelate metal of dyestuff and will not impair tone/shade of dyed fabric. It can be incorporated in various chemical water treatment, detergents and soap.

Application

1. In scouring, bleaching as well as combined scouring and bleaching of cotton and blends by batch process:

0.5-1 g/l Quest-AMP can be added with usual recipe to prevent white deposits as well as pin-hole marks due to iron. When Quest-AMP is added in the recipe, reduces the concentration of organic stabiliser as it has stabilising action.

2. For combined scouring and bleaching on continuous bleaching range

0.5-1 gm/kg Quest-AMP is recommended.

Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
