Saralink-ULF is an ultra low formaldehyde pre-catalyzed cross linking agent for cotton and polyester/cellulosic blends to impart durable press finish with very low free formaldehyde. It can also be applied at high temperature. It meets Oekotex requirement. With Saralink-ULF, DP rating of 3- 3.5 can be obtained depending on recipe and process. Saralink-ULF is also suitable for DP finishing of garments by spraying or soaking technique.

Application

I. PADDING PROCESS (Durable press finish)

  • Pick-up : 65-70%
  • Bath pH : 5.0-6.0
  • High temp.curing : 150-160 deg.C, 3-4 mins.
  • Shock curing : 170-180 deg.C, 30-45 sec.

Suggested Recipe

1. 100% Cotton Shirting & Cotton B/W

  • Saralink-ULF : 60-120 g/l
  • MgCl2 : 12-25 g/l (optional)
  • Citric acid : 0.3 g/l
  • Megatouch : 5-15 g/l
  • Macrosoft-W : 5-15 g/l
  • Saralube-2975 : 20-30 g/l

2. Polyester / Cellulosic blends

  • Saralink-ULF : 40-60 g/l
  • MgCl2 : 8-12 g/l (optional)
  • Citric acid : 0.3 g/l
  • Sarasoft-1371 : 10-15 g/l
  • Macrosoft-W : 10-15 g/l
  • Saralube-2975 : 10-20 g/l

II. EXHAUST PROCESS

  • Bath pH : 4.5-5.0
  • Bath Temp : Room temperature
  • Time : 10-30 mins.
  • Hydroextract : Tumble dry
  • Drying : 125-160 deg.C, 3-5 mins.

Suggested Recipe

1. Wrinkle-free treatment of garments

  • Saralink-ULF : 6-12 %
  • Saralube-2975 : 2-3%
  • Macrosoft-W :  1-2 % 
  • MgCl2 : 1.2-2.4% (Optional)
  • Citric acid : 0.3%
Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
