SARADYE-PLE (CONC) | Chlorine Fastness Improver for Cotton

Saradye-PLE(Conc) is a concentrated special formulation to chlorinated pool water for sulphur and reactive dyed / printed cellulosic and cellulosic rich blends. Saradye-PLE (Conc) has minimum effect on light fastness and tone of the treated material.

Saradye-PLE(Conc) does not contain formaldehyde and hence suitable for Oekotex Standard 100. Saradye-PLE(Conc) does not affect the original handle and absorbency of the fabric.

After thorough soaping and neutralisation, treat the substrate with below recipe.

Padding Process 

• Saradye-PLE (Conc) : 20-40 g/l (depending on chlorine content in water) 
• Pick-up : 65-70% 
• Bath pH : 5.0-5.5
• Drying : 140-160 deg.C

Exhaust process 

• Saradye-PLE (Conc) : 2-4% (depending on chlorine content in water)
• Bath pH : 5.0-5.5
• Bath Temp. : 50 deg.C
• Time : 15-20 mins.

Note : 

• Performance of Saradye-PLE(Conc) may vary from dye to dye.
• Saradye-PLE(Conc) has limited durability to washing.

Instructions For Dilution

• Saradye-PLE (Conc) : 53.0
• Water : 47.0
• Total : 100.0

Adjust pH to 5.5 +/- 0.5 with ATMP (aminotris (methylenephosphonic acid) if required.

Procedure

• Take 53.0 kgs of Saradye-PLE(Conc) in SS Vessel
• To it add gradually 47.0 kgs water under stirring and stir for 10 to 15 min (250 to 300 rpm)
• Stir till the product is completely dissolved
• Adjust the product pH between 5.5 +/- 0.5 with ATMP is required
• Then filter

It is advisable to utilize the diluted product within 2 months. Stir well before use.

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
