Zoroguard-ZP is zinc pyrithione based antimicrobial agent. Zinc pyrithione is classical antifungal agent. Zoroguard-ZP exhibits antibacterial activity as well. Zoroguard-ZP is effective against broad spectrum of microbes. It is suitable for all types of substrates viz cotton, polyester, polyamide, wool and their blends. It is leaching antimicrobial agent. Zoroguard-ZP passes AATCC-30, AATCC-147 and AATCC-100 test methods.

Applications

Padding process :

  • Zoroguard-ZP : 10-30 g/l
  • Pick-up : 65-70 %
  • Bath pH : 5.0-5.5
  • Drying : 160 deg.C, 2 mins.

Exhaust process:

  • Zoroguard-ZP : 1-6%
  • Batch pH : 6.5
  • Bath Temp. : 30-40 deg.C
  • Time : 15-20 mins

Note

Zoroguard-ZP is a disperssion so whenever you are using the material please shake well before use.

Zoroguard-ZP can be used in combination with oil and wtaer repellent, but please ensure that pH is more than 5.5 and less that 6.5 for best results and stability. Also the bath prepare should be used immediately.

* For application in medical textiles the dosage of the above chemical has to be optimized depending on the GSM of the fabric and (%) Expression

* Concentration of the above product to be taken on the basis of durability requirement.

* Pre-trials are recommended.


Precautions

Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.

Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
