Saraguard-5700 (Conc) is a powder form methanol free antibacterial and antiviral agent which is suitable for all types of textile substrate. Saraguard-5700 (Conc)can be applied by padding, exhaust, soaking and spraying methods. Saraguard-5700 (Conc)is non-leaching antimicrobial agent and is durable to multiple home launderings. It shows antibacterial and antifungal activity by contact mechanism. Saraguard-5700 (Conc) shows excellent antimicrobial activity on non-woven substrates also. Saraguard-5700 (Conc) will provide protection against wide range of Gram positive and Gram negative bacteria's, fungi and wide range of viruses. Saraguard-5700 (Conc)is suitable for application persona1 protective equipment/ clothing (PPE)used in medical and other textile substrates.
It can be applied by spray technique on the surface of shoes and packing box or paper to prevent mildew formation.

Soaking Method
Prepare 10-20% solution of Saraguard-5700 (Conc) depending on the durability required in a vessel. Introduce the fabric in the vessel containing Saraguard-5700 (Conc) solution and soak the fabric for 20-30 minutes at 30-40deg. C with intermittent stirring. Unload the fabric and hydro extract it to remove excess liquor, without rinsing. Dry the fabric at approximately 140°C
Spraying Method
Prepare 10-20% solution of Saraguard-5700 (Conc) depending on the durability required in a vessel. Spray the solution on the fabric using a spray gun then dry the fabric at approximately 140°C
* The product must be diluted with water and kept standing for 60 minutes before application
on any substrates. This helps in proper activation of the product and thus increases
the reactivity and durability of the product

Instructions For Dilution
Procedure to prepare 1% Saraguard-5700 (Conc)
- Take 70 parts of ISO Propyl Alcohol + 30 parts of distill water.
- Warm the above mixture to 55-50 deg.C
- To this add 1 part of Saraguard-5700 (Conc) and stir continuously at
300-400 rpm for 30-45 mins at 55-60 deg.C
- After the product is completely dissolved continue stirring at room
Temperature for 25 mins at 300-400 rpm.
- The final product will be colourless clear liquid with yellow tint
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
