Parakol-RDP is a concentrated polymeric compound as a dyebath conditioner and washing off agent, which can be readily dissolve to obtain stable solution. Parakol-RDP is recommended in reactive dyeing by exhaust method. In case of reactive dyes which are having low solubility in presence of salt and alkali and when liquor ratio is low there could be precipitation of dyes during the dyeing, leading to poor colour yield as well as precipitation of dyes on substrate and machine. Addition of Parakol-RDP overcomes this problem due to its excellent dispersing action. Calcium Iron and other metal ion impurities in the dyebath could also lead to precipitation of dyes as well as poor washing off of hydrolysed dyes at the end of dyeing. Due to its chelating action, Parakol-RDP prevents such precipitation and also helps in easy removal of hydrolysed reactive dyes at the end of dyeing operation. Parakol-RDP is also recommended in batch operation as well as in continuous operation.

Instructions For Dilution
Procedure to make 30% of Parakol-RDP
Take 70 parts of DM water, add to it 30 parts of Parakol-RDP gradually under constant stirring by using paddle stirrer at 500-600 rpm. Continue stirring till it becomes a homogeneous liquid and filter through nylon filter cloth of 200-250 mesh size. Discard residues if any. Maintain pH at 7 - 7.5. The diluted product will be colourless to light brown liquid.
In order to carry out dilution of Parakol-RDP faster, 60 deg.C DM water may be used. It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2,Bromo 2 Nitropropane, 1,3 Diol) or Methyl Paraben (Methyl Para Hydroxy Benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal/microbial formation.
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
