Sarafix-NEW is a novel acid stable dyefixing agent for acid and metal complex dyed/printed polyamide and their blends. Polyamide fabric dyefixed with Sarafix-NEW shows improvement in wet fastness properties. Sarafix-NEW is stable to concentrated acid. Sarafix-NEW treated fabric does not stain white grounds of prints on polyamide therefore it is also suitable for light and pastel shades. Sarafix-NEW acts as a leveling agent for Nylon/wool blend for achieving solid even dyeing. It also acts as a reserving agent for Nylon/cotton blend fabrics. Sarafix-NEW is stable under acidic condition thus can be used for various application.

* Sarafix-NEW on prolong storage due to change in temperature, becomes darker.
* Sarafix-NEW has a tendency to crystallize at lower temperature. Heating upto about 45 deg.C and slight stirring should re-dissolve the crystals and product can be used.

Precautions:
The handle of the fabrics may change slightly (becoming firmer, fuller), depending on the amount of Sarafix-NEW used, the fabric construction and the temperature during drying or post-setting.
The effects obtained by after-treatment with Sarafix-NEW are stable to dry heat at the usual setting temperatures but can be impaired by intense pressure steaming. Increasing the amount of Sarafix-NEW will often improve the stability of the dyefixation to steaming. Polyamide material treated with Sarafix-NEW is difficult to re-dye or over-dye. Sarafix-NEW should therefore be stripped first before redyeing.
For correction of any shade of material treated with Sarafix-NEW, first strip Sarafix-NEW by treatment with 1 g/l Supergen-MX and 3 g/l Sodium carbonate, temp. 95 deg.C for 45-60 mins followed by rinsing. Once Sarafix-NEW is removed from the substrate, then only stripping of dyestuff or redyeing / overdyeing can be carried out. The shade after correction can again be fixed with Sarafix-NEW as per standard procedure.
Storage : Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C. Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture.
Shelf Life : 9 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions.
