Dyewell-SLY is a low foaming levelling agent and dyeing accelerator with diffusion property for high temperature polyester dyeings. Dyewell-SLY accelerates the diffusion of disperse dyestuffs into the polyester fabric and hence enables a good dyestuff pick-up and improved dyestuff yield.
Key Features | Benefits |
---|---|
Dyeing accelerator with diffusion propertie | Dyeing time and temperatures can be reduced Good dyestuff pick-up and improved dyestuff yield |
Low foaming | Suitable in high temperature range |
Physical appearance | Yellow liquid |
Ionic nature | Nonionic |
pH of 1% solution | 8 +/- 1 |
Miscibility | Miscible with water |
Stability | Stable to dilute acids and dilute alkalies |
Compatibility | Compatible with anionic and nonionic products |
In Exhaust dyeing of polyester tops, yarn, fibre & fabrics Set the bath with
0.5 - 1.0 g/l Dyewell-SLY
0.5 - 1.0 g/l Saracid-RS
Circulate at 60 deg.C for 5-10 min., add dyestuff dispersion, circulate for 5-10 min. Check and adjust pH to 4.5 - 5.5 and dye as per usual method.
For correction of faulty dyeings & levelling
1.0 - 2.0 g/l Dyewell-SLY
2.0 - 5.0 g/l Saracid-RS (Acid buffer)
10-20% dyestuff of the original recipe
pH 4.5 - 5.5
Treat at 130 deg.C for 40-60 min.
Drain and reduction clear.
Note :
1. Stir well before use, as it is a concentrated product it may separate during storage.
Insturctions for Dilution
Procedure to prepare 10% solution of Dyewell-SLY
- Take 14 parts of Dyewell-SLY
- To this add 86 parts of warm DM water ( 50-60 deg.C) under continuous stirring to obtain homogenous liquid
Preservation: It is recommended to add 0.1% Bronopol (2-Bromo, 2-nitropropane, 1,3-diol) or Methyl Paraben (methyl para hydroxy benzoate) as an antimicrobial agent to avoid fungal / microbial growth.
Storage | Store in cool, ventilated shed away from heat and direct sunlight. Storage temperature should not exceed 35 deg C.Close lids firmly to avoid contact with air and moisture. |
Shelf Life | 8 months from the date of manufacturing, if stored under controlled conditions |
